CardSnoop

Built by a hobbyist for hobbyists, Card Snoop is the best 3rd party app to use when researching your card collections value. Searching for completed “Best Offers” has never been easier, or quicker. Using only an eMail to create a free account you will instantly have access to all of the completed listings for your research!

There are a couple of downsides to using CardSnoop, let’s go over those so you can have the most accurate and up to date info possible! 1) No item # search function. 2) Have to log in every time, no “Stay Logged In” feature. 3) No conversion rate for international sales. Be sure to check if you are researching items that were sold by international sellers. This usually happens in Basketball or Hockey cards where a large portion of the market is international.

Group Break Checklist (GBC)

An absolute must for all of your group breaking information, GBC has exploded on to the scene recently usurping Cardboard Connection as the go to place for all release day checklists. My two favorite included site features are the sortable checklist and the Group Breaking cheat sheet.

Another BIG resource is the Find a Break - Break Host Listings page. Here you will find a list of reputable breakers and as much contact information as possible for them. Websites, facebook pages, breakers.tv page, and much more!

Check Out My Cards, or COMC, has become the closest thing to competing with eBay for the #1 site to sell your cards!

Check Out My Cards, or COMC, has become the closest thing to competing with eBay for the #1 site to sell your cards!

Check Out My Cards (COMC)

COMC is an absolute must for both buyers and sellers! As a seller you get benefits similar to selling on Amazon with FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon). What that means is you can simply take your cards and ship them to COMC. Once in hand they have a processing time that is tiered by how much you want to pay (from 1-3 days up to 2 months). You just set your price and COMC will do the rest!

As a buyer there are also many advantages to doing business on COMC. You can buy from many sellers and pay just one small flat shipping fee. You can also buy cards from as low as $0.30, where as on ebay the cheapest you will find is $0.99!

One big dislike for COMC is the inability to send messages between members. I believe that the addition of messaging would result in more sales, as it would be very advantageous to be able to communicate between potential buyers and sellers.
